The award ceremony held on 29th May 2025, Mr. Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, and Mr. Peter McGettrick, Chair of the Board of Trustees, presented the award-honouring the exemplary safety achievements of our Indian manufacturing sites.

Chloride Metals Limited - Haldia, a subsidiary of Exide Industries, won the Inter-Industry Safety Quiz Competition held on 9th March'23. The event was organized by Quizzihal, as part of the National Safety Week Celebrations initiated by Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd.

The award was received by Mr. Ramprasad Pal, Plant Head - CML Haldia from Sri Arup Biswas Honorable Minister-in-Charge, Power, Government of West Bengal. The event was held on 18th November’24 in Kolkata.
